A look at the Fashion Color of the Year for 2014 and 2015

As 2014 winds down, you don’t have to look hard to find an abundance of articles, slideshows and pictures of the year in fashion. One of the trends we always like to look out for is the Pantone fashion color of the year. Why it’s so great is because it gives fashionistas the chance to take part in one of the hottest trend of the year no matter what their style or budget!

The Pantone Color of the Year for 2014 was the gorgeous Radiant Orchid. This pinky-purple tone is a vibrant, bright color that is great because it is both nuanced and bold that looks good on most skin types. We’ve created a collection of some of our favorite ways to wear this peppy shade even after 2014 is over!

For those fashion trend-watchers we’re sure you’ve heard what to expect for the color of the year 2015: Marsala. This is a gorgeous, wine inspired tone is being seen in both fashion and home decor trends. The red-brown hue is much darker and more subtle than the vibrant Radiant Orchid of last year but will still make be seen as a trendy color for the Spring and Summer 2015 season and will be a great warm tone for next fall.
